Introduction

Mercedes Benz club of India is the brainchild of Mr. Sharad Apte. It began as like-minded Mercedes Benz owners meeting and greeting each other every first Sunday with their 1st name which included Jairaj Salgaonkar, of Kalnirnays, (MB parts Dealer) Shah brothers Jayesh and Dilip, die hard enthusiast Freddy Turel and Sachit Dhabolkar of vintage fame.
In the 2^nd week of March 1997 meeting, an idea to name themselves as the Three Pointers club was initiated and decided. In their meeting of 6^th April 1997 Freddy suggested that since we are growing and all the members till date are passionate Mercedes fans we should name our club as “Mercedes Benz club of India – The Three Pointers”.

In the 3^rd week of March these five persons brought in another five enthusiast to the club who were none other than Kiran Shantaram of bollywood fame, Bhaskar Talwalkar of body fitness name, Mahesh Wagle a reputed printer and Suresh Joshi manufacturer of famous Sapat Lotion & Rajan Dandekar.

Mercedes Benz Club of India on 25^th Sept 2017 decided to form Mercedes benz club of india Mumbai chapter which is operational from 1^st oct 2017. Further an election was conducted on 17^th June 2018 by Mercedes Benz club of India Mumbai chapter to elect the new managing committee and the following members were elected as the New committee of Mercedes Benz club of India Mumbai chapter:

Mission Vision

Increasing strength of members.
Conducting exciting events such as drives, rallies, car museum visits, restaurant visits, car manufacturing plants, domestic and international.
Getting discounts from authorized service providers for car maintenance and their services.
Assisting members in maintaining their vintage and classic cars and also restoration of the same through the MBCI chapters contacts.
Arranging social events which would include helping the under privileged children and also make and feel the old age people wanted and felt loving by visiting and spending quality time with them.
The club would also look at the needs of the under privileged children and senior members of the old age homes.
Providing good merchandising options with the authorized MBCI Mumbai chapter logo which can be worn for the above mentioned events and drives.
